【2020年考研英语视频讲解】（1）名词用作动词
比如在2007年阅读理解真题的第二篇文章第一段中，我们读到了如下的句子：
So it is a bit confusing when vos Savant fields such queries from the average Joe (whose IQ is 100) as, What’s the difference between love and fondness?
这句话中的field 加了s 后面接名词，很显然不是我们一般的理解为“田野”、“土地”，而应该理解为 to answer difficult questions，即“处理”、“应付”的意思。
又比如在2013年阅读理解真题的第四篇文章第二段中，我们读到了如下的句子：
Arizona had attempted to fashion state policies that ran parallel to the existing federal ones.
这句话中的fashion 放在动词不定式to后面作动词，我们一般对这个单词的理解为“时尚”，可是如果后面的名词词组为“州政策”时，跟时尚还真沾不上边！其实，fashion在这里的意思是to influence and form someone’s ideas and opinions，即为“塑造”、“影响”，只有这样理解为“影响州政策”，语义上才符合逻辑，我们才能通顺地读懂全文。

比如在2013年阅读理解真题的第四篇文章第二段中，我们读到了如下的句子：
In Arizona v. United States, the majority overtuned three of the four contested provisions of Arizona’s controversial plan to have state and local police enforce federal immigration law.
