Write an essay of 160-200 words based on the following drawing. In your essay, you should:
1) interpret the following pictures, 2) give your explanation to the phenomenon.

As is shown in the picture, the petroleum consumption has got a rapid increase since the year of 1993.

There had been a decrease in the reserve of crude oil.

It is symbolically revealed in the picture that the largest petroleum consumption probably just begin to loom.

We can see clearly that if we do not hold back the consumption of petroleum, our crude oil reserves will be used up very soon.

There are many reasons responsible for this phenomenon and the following are the typical ones.

The first reason is that the rapid economic development makes demand for petroleum increase continuously.
The second reason is that the modernization in industry, agriculture, national defense and science, definitely increases the petroleum consumption.
The third reason is that family cars are entering into Chinese family.

Considering all these reasons, we need to take some positive measures.
On the one hand, our government ought to import more petroleum from other countries.
On the other hand, it is necessary for us to find other energy substitute for petroleum.
Only in this way, can we make a good preparation for the upcoming consumption peak.

第一句是过渡句，引出下面的建议措施。
*considering引导原因状语
第二句提出第一项建议
*ought to do…应当，应该…；import…from…进口…

第三句提出第二项建议。
*句子剖析，it is necessary for … to do …、

第四句是本段的总结句，提出建议措施的必要性。
*句子剖析：Only表示“只有”在句首，后面的主句主谓倒装。
*make a good preparation for…充分准备…
