When looking for information for a research project, some students prefer to get their information mainly from the Internet. Others prefer to mainly use printed materials such as books and academic journals. Which do you prefer and why?

TPO13口语Task2参考答案(范文模板)：

I prefer looking for information from the Internet for two reasons.

The first reason is that the Internet already compiles a lot of information from many sources. Even though there may be some cross-referencing you’ll have to do to validate material, it’s still faster. Before the Internet, it would take mehours to find information I needed whereas now, I can find it in minutes.

The second reason is that when I look for information on the Internet, it can be done more safely. When I have to drive to a library, or go to an on-site locationfor a picture, etc. I worry that I might get in a car accident, or that someone might try and rob me. But with the Internet, I can be safe at home and still able to get my research done.

That’s why I prefer looking for information mainly on the Internet.
